How to Register on YONO SBI App Step-by-Step: Complete Guide for New SBI Users

When is registration required?

Now friends, when does the need for registration come? When you have already created your account. So either you have visited the branch to open the account or you opened the account online. Now you want to use mobile banking and net banking facilities for which you need a user ID and password, and you can get this only after registration.

And trust me, the registration process is very simple. You can do it yourself within 4–5 minutes. But if you get confused anywhere or do not understand how to do it, then by following the step-by-step process that I will tell you in this video, you can also do it for yourself.

Things required for registration

I just want to say one thing: while doing the registration, you get two options.

1. You can enter your ATM card details.
2. Second, you can enter your account details.

Now see, on YouTube you will find many videos where it is said that you can register only with your account number. But friends, when you complete the next steps you will see that the last six digits of the ATM card number will be asked. If you don’t have it, how will you enter it?

So see, if you have not yet received your ATM card and ATM PIN, then I request you to wait a little. When you receive it, then by following the step-by-step process that I am going to tell you, you will also be able to register inside the O SBI App.

Initial steps after installing the app

Now friends, before I tell you the complete step-by-step process, like the video and comment below telling me where you opened your SBI account — by visiting the offline branch or online.

Now friends, to register in the Yo SBI app, first you have to install this application. You will find it on both Google Play Store and App Store.

As soon as you open it, a screen like this will appear in front of you. Here you can clearly see “Register Now.” You need to click on it.

Mobile number and permissions

Then you have to select your SIM card. At the top, three things are clearly mentioned.

• Select the same number which is registered in the account
• A message will be sent from the same number
• Charges may be deducted

Clicking Next will ask for permissions — allow all of them.

Creating Internet Banking Credentials

Now you will reach the page where it will say Create Your SBI Internet Banking Credentials. You have to click on Proceed.

Then a page will appear where you have to click on Yes I Agree. Carefully read the instructions given above — this user ID will be used in YONO and net banking in the future.

Two options for registration

Now here you will see two options—

1. Register for YONO with my ATM Card
2. Register with Account Details

In both cases, you will need the ATM card.

If you want to do it using Account Details:

• Enter account number
• Enter date of birth
• Leave the Referral ID empty
• Click Next

Then enter the OTP received on your mobile and verify.

New User Details – View / Limited / Full

Now the screen that appears will have three options—

• View
• Limited
• Full

View = you can only see the account
Limited = limited transactions
Full = all types of transactions

Select Full.

ATM card requirement

Now ahead, the last six digits of the ATM card will be asked. That’s why the ATM card is necessary.

Then enter the ATM PIN → Submit.

Set User ID and Password

Now the screen will show the option to set User ID and Password. Follow the conditions given below and set both.

Then you will see — You have successfully activated your account on YONO.

Set MPIN

Now you have to set the MPIN:

• Click on Set MPIN
• Tick the consent
• Create any 6-digit MPIN
• OTP will come → Verify
• Congratulations screen will appear

Now come back to the Home Page and enter MPIN to log in.

If you want to log in with User ID, click on the option given below.

• FD
• RD
